Royal Oak Dual Time
2000
36 mm
25730OR

Gérald Genta’s iconic Royal Oak remains one of the most celebrated luxury sports watches ever created. This exceptionally rare 25730OR features a beautifully proportioned 36mm case and integrated bracelet crafted from Audemars Piguet’s exquisite 18k pink gold, complemented by a striking purplish/rose mother of pearl dial. First introduced in 1992, the Dual Time is a rarely seen Royal Oak complication, featuring a second time zone, power reserve, date and day/night indicator. With its iridescent dial, recessed subsidiary displays and signature AP deployant clasp, this is an exceptionally elegant and desirable example of the Royal Oak.

Details

In spectacular condition, with a bracelet that shows no stretch whatsoever. We believe this watch is from the early 2000s, as the papers are undated and only stamped by the authorised dealer, but the entire watch appears as-new. The watch also retains its original unstamped crown, rarely seen these days. The watch comes complete with its original box, papers and accompanied by an official Extract from the Archives from AP.

Our approach is simple: we only buy watches we would be proud to own ourselves. Every piece is selected on its individual merits, with an uncompromising focus on originality, condition, provenance and overall quality. We have no interest in filling our inventory for the sake of it; if an example doesn’t meet our expectations, we leave it behind. Whether it is an important vintage reference, a rare modern complication or an exceptional everyday piece, we search for the best examples we can find and buy only what genuinely excites us. Taste and quality come before volume, every time.

That same standard extends to authentication. Every watch we acquire is subjected to rigorous examination, with the case, dial, movement, components, serial and reference details carefully assessed for authenticity, originality and consistency with the period of manufacture. Where appropriate, provenance and accompanying documentation are scrutinised with equal care. In this business, reputation is everything, and ours is attached to every watch we sell. We would rather walk away from a watch and a deal than offer something we are not completely comfortable putting our name behind. When a watch enters our collection, it is there because we believe it deserves to be.
